Them.

The mistakes, I repeat them.

Circles, I go round in them.

Stupid situations, I find myself in them.

Stranger’s beds, I wake up in them.

Feelings, I don’t have them.

“I love you”, is what I tell them.

Wanting out, need to get away from them.

A nice guy, that’s what I seem to them.

The façades…they don’t notice them.

Wake Up.

You get up, out of bed. Disorientated, blinded by the light.

You wash your body, you clean your teeth, make yourself presentable.

Spit out the froth, rinse it away down into the dark depths of the plug hole.

Button up your shirt, tie your tie and you’re ready to conquer the world. Go outside, face the day, I dare you.

I Love You So

I wrote a song for someone once, with the idea that she’d eventually record it and she actually did! Last Night

“Last night I had the strangest sensation.
Falling slowly but in actuality,
I was stationary, in the same location.”

Hello there! Just a quick update to tell you about a weird feeling I had last night whilst led in bed, I started to write that first sentence and the next too came to me so thought I would just put it in quotes and it could be a nice little ice breaker for this here blog post.

But yeah, I had a weird sensation last whilst led in bed (not the falling sensation which that short ditty refers to). It was the feeling that someone had climbed on to my bed and settled next to me. Let me help you picture the scene. Continue reading
