So there hasn’t be an update on either my monologue or film script recently hence the “Open Questions” that seem to have been a little hit and miss but the response to the previous ones have been good just no comments on the latest one yet really. Don’t know what went wrong there.

I finally have got around to starting my 45 minute Radio Play that I am writing as part of my Radio for Radio module at UCLan.
Titled Dead And Buried, it is about Jennifer, who is in an abusive relationship. After one incident she calls her brother crying and he comes round. Jen’s fiance, Adam, comes home whilst David is there and there is a fight, and this is a play about the repercussions of that fight.
I have included the opening monologue from Jen if you want to read it. It is a first draft at the moment so it may change by the time I I have finished with it. So I know I might be a bit late on the uptake since this trailer has been out since TGS 2010 but Capcom announced another Devil May Cry game called DmC. It features a new look Dante and is a prequel to Devil May Cry 3, which itself is a prequel to the Devil May Cry series.
Looking at the comments you can instantly see that people DO NOT like Dante’s new look. He is a teenager and has black hair with a white tuft at the back from what I can make out.
They are saying it’s going to be a rubbish game based on what he looks like, some people just don’t like change apparently and to be honest he doesn’t look that bad, he looks how I would expect a DanTEEN (see what I did there) to look like.
Just because he looks different it doesn’t mean the story, gameplay and supporting characters will be bad either.
People need to chill and realise that A) It’s just a game and B) Don’t judge a game by its trailer. So many games have had AWESOME trailers and then turned out to be rubbish and I’m sure in the months up till release more and more trailers and gameplay footage will come out and it’ll shape up to be a good game.
So E3 is this Tuesday, expect a lot of posts from me about it. I can’t wait to see what Sony, Microsoft and Ninty reveal, I’m going to try and catch the live streams of their press conferences and if I do I’ll be posting live, if not I’ll have to watch them later and I’ll just have to do posts about what they reveal, either way I can not wait.
